Our highly experienced management team draws from
both experienced caregivers and business practitioners
who have worked to create a business that cares not
only for its patients but also for its own staff.
Heath, Love and Care are front and centre in our
business ethos and our staff, our managers, our
caregivers and our patients can attest to this.
Our Caregivers
At Marula, we only employ caregivers that really love
to give care. After all this is the top priority for our
patients and as importantly, for their families, usually
their children. Our management team has decades of
experience in the nursing and care industry and we
recruit, employ and train caregivers that pass our
stringent requirements.
These requirements rely not just on qualifications and
experience. We get to engage our carers at an
emotional level to make sure that when we only
employ people with a deep passion for caring.

Our Training
Training is critical to success in any business and
never more so than in Home Based Caring.
Qualifications are not enough for Marula and we make
sure that our carers go through our internal training
courses to uphold the very high standards we set.
Our training includes all the standard medical and
caregiving duties expected of the carer, plus
administration duties such as timekeeping, use of
mobile phones, reporting, paperwork, escalation
procedures, interface with doctors, pharmacies and
other service providers.
We issue certificates for various training courses that
our caregivers complete successfully.
